Life is short...let's make the most out of it
Last january 6, we went to PGH to visit a friend who has leukemia. I never knew it was very fatal until later that day, when her mom told us that our friend's days are already numbered. It was a bit of a shock for most of us. The last time i saw her(prior to that day) was in Los Banos. she was very active and bubbly then.
We were not that tight but we do have common grounds (esp we have the same sponsor during the reporting days). We talked about org, execom, palacasan, cps ID and CMSC 150 among others. I must admit she is one of the most active person i have ever met. She's involved with different organizations and after the election period she is our RDP head and her civic organization's president. (did i say she's active?)
After almost five months, last sunday, i got a text from a sis telling me that Ruslie is gone...
it was a miracle that she survived 5 months. Ryan (a brod of mine) told me that she's still fighting the sickness. And all this time, i thought she's gonna make it. The news was a bit of a shock...
I realize life is too short to waste it... Indeed, our lives is as short as the dash between our birthdate and death date engraved on epitaph. Now i wonder, have i done something for a purpose while i am still living? or i am just surviving each day that comes?
I pray for the departed souls of my orgmate, Ruslie Corpuz and highschool mates, Ecatherine Balagso and Sheryl Jimena... May you all rest in peace... surely, you will all be missed!
